The great thing about this Gordon Ramsay's Banana Ice Cream is that it only includes only one natural and healthy ingredient, banana. This makes this ice cream so much nutritious without compromising taste.
Now, put them into a freezer-proof container. Keep the container in the freezer and leave overnight, or until frozen solid.
Next, add the frozen banana pieces into a food processor.
Finally, blend until the banana is smooth and creamy. Serve chilled banana ice cream as soon as possible.
Notes
I suggest adding a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon to enhance the flavor profile.
You can take my advice of adding chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans) or chocolate chips towards the end of the blending process.
I recommend adding Greek yogurt or coconut cream. If you prefer a creamier texture, blend in a tablespoon or two. This will also add richness.
Trust me, and add a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness of the bananas and balance the flavors. Add it sparingly, tasting as you go.
I use a small amount of alcohol (like rum or bourbon) in the ice cream mixture to help keep it from freezing too hard. Be cautious not to add too much, as it can affect the flavor.
When I want to create layers of flavor, I consider blending in swirls of chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, or fruit preserves after the ice cream is partially frozen.
I also advise that you stop in between blending the ice cream and fold it with a spatula to incorporate some air, making the ice cream more fluffy.
