  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Cups Croutons
  • Bunch of Lettuce
  • 2 Filets Anchovies
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 Egg Yolk
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the dressing for the salad by adding egg yolk and mustard to a bowl.

  • Now add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce into the bowl.

  • Whisk the mixture until it is smooth.

  • Add a drizzle of olive oil to the dressing, along with minced garlic and anchovies.

  • Season the dressing mix with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

  • Once the dressing is prepared, drizzle olive oil on the chopped croutons and sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese.

  • Now, use a sharp knife to chop the lettuce.

  • Once done with chopping, preheat the oven and let the croutons bake until golden brown.

  • Get all the prepared components of this salad ready for assembly.

  • In a bowl, pour the dressing and add the lettuce and croutons.

  • Extra Crunch: Trust me, there is nothing better than adding some toasted nuts or seeds such as sunflower or pine nuts for an additional layer of flavors and textures. 
  • Drizzle With Olive Oil: When the salad is prepared, I prefer drizzling high-quality virgin olive oil on it. It adds a rich flavor. 
  • Grill the Lettuce: I love this salad with a smoky touch, so I prefer to grill the romaine halves. It adds a unique depth of flavor to the salad. 
  • Toss the Croutons: I suggest tossing the croutons with some herb-infused oil before cooking them. This will make your Caesar salad more flavorful and delicious. 
  • Chill The Lettuce: Take my suggestion, chill the lettuce before chopping. It’ll give an extra crispy finish to your Caesar salad.
  • Use Anchovy Paste: I have used regular anchovies to make this Caesar salad dressing, but if you want a smoother flavor, then use anchovy paste. 
  • Infuse the Olive Oil: To incorporate more flavors in this Caesar salad, I believe it’s best to add olive oil infused with garlic and herbs.
