1. Spicy Paloma Drink
Lets, start with one of my favorite Tequila drinks, which I would even prefer over water, aka, presenting to you Spicy Paloma drink. Unpopular opinion! Spicy Paloma Drink does not always have to be expensive.
Especially, if you are making it at home. Embrace National Tequila Day 2025 with the right energy and make it right away!
Ingredients For Jalapeno Syrup
- 1 Cup Jalapeno
- I Cup Sugar
- I Cup water
Ingredients For Paloma
- 2 Cup Lime Wedges
- Coarse Salt
- 3 Ounces Grapefruit
- 1 Ounce Jalepeno Syrup
- 1 Ounce Tequila
- Sparkling Water
Method
- I start by boiling all the ingredients for the Jalepno syrup at low heat in a pan.
- I turn off the heat and let it cool down after it has thickened.
- Then, I refrigerate it overnight.
- Next, I’ll take a glass and rub the top surface of it with a lime wedge.
- Then I turn it over a saucer with salt.
- Once I get a beautiful circle of salt on the mouth of the glass, I add the jalapeno syrup along with tequila and grapefruit juice.
- Finally, in goes the sparkling water with a garnish of lime wedge, and my Spicy Paloma at home is ready.
2. Margarita
Don’t tell me you are celebrating National Tequila Day without the classic margarita. There are endless variations of it, and every single one of them looks Instagram worthy. This drink has the looks and the grooves.
Ingredients
- 2 Teaspoons Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt
- Ice
- 1 Medium Lime
- 1 Ounce Orange Liquor Blanco
- 1 ½ Ounce Silver Tequila
- ½ Ounce Agave Nectar Or Simple Syrup
Method
- I start the process with the classic step. Hence, I run a lime wedge on the mouth of the glass.
- Once done, I invert it on a plate filled with salt. This gives that beautiful salty, white line on the mouth of the glass.
- Now, I add 1 ounce of orange liquor blanco, 1 ½ Ounces of Silver tequila, and ½ ounce of agave nectar to a cocktail shaker. Next, I add ice and shake it aggressively.
- After this, I strain it through a strainer and pour it into a glass.
3. Ranch Rose
When I am in the mood for making a tequila that doesn’t require a cocktail shaker, I opt for Ranch Rose. Bright pink, refreshing, and everlasting. Didn’t get a rose, give it yourself in the form of a tequila. I think this is way better!
Ingredients
- 1½ Ounces Blanco Tequila
- ¾ Ounce Lillet Rosé
- ½ Ounce Blood Orange Syrup (Such As Liquid Alchemist)
- 1 Ounce Lime Juice, Strained Of Any Solids, From 2 Limes
- Ice
- 2 Ounces Sparkling Water (Such As Topo Chico)
- Dried Rose Petals
Method
- I start by adding 1 ½ ounces blanco tequila, ¾ ounce Lillet. ½ ounce blood orange syrup and 1 ounce lime juice to a glass.
- Then, I add sparkling water.
- In goes the ice.
- Finally, I garnish it with rose petals to be extra.
