Expert Tips That I Recommend
- I know washing fruits before adding them to the salad is quite common, but it is a must. Washing fruits not only cleans them but also helps extend their shelf life if you are planning to store them for later.
- Don’t be afraid to be experimental. You can add honey, tahini, and other dressings to enhance this salad.
- You can shape your fruits with a mini cookie cutter if you feel playful.
- When I want my Dragonfruit Salad to be a bit crunchy, I toss some nuts in it.
- Fresh fruits are the life of this dish, so I do not compromise on them. Using poor, old fruits will leave an odd taste.
- If you have too many leftovers, you can always store them and enjoy them later. You can also use them in your smoothies to make daily life more nutritious.
- Although dragon fruit is this salad’s star, you can substitute it with watermelon or honeydew.
