Catherine Tan-Gillespie, president of KFC US, said, “We are well aware of the latest fried chicken rankings and I am fired up to launch a bold Kentucky Fried Comeback and remind America exactly who we are,”.
She also stated, “The Colonel would not be happy about our market share, and we’re serious about reminding America exactly who we are: the game changer with a relentless pursuit of the best fried chicken. We won’t smile until our customers do,”.
This explains why the smiling colonel now looks angry. Yes, the legendary KFC Colonel is not happy about being dethroned in the fried chicken market. Now his smile has faded. He seems angry, right? No? Is it just me, or has everyone else noticed this as well?
